The Muslim council of Yola South has organized a two days capacity building and training workshop, tasked the newly elected leadership to be honest, reliable and prudent, as all their actions must be accounted for, in the day of judgement. The chairman of the occasion, Brr Bello Hamman Diram made this statement during the capacity building and leadership training in Yola. According to him, the training was in evitable, as it will guide the newly leadership of the Yola south local government area council to do the needful, and discharge their responsibilities according to the Islamic shari'a. Bello Diram further said, the training was organized in order to prepare the new leadership on the task ahead, and the need to be honest, transparent and God's fearing. Muhammad Bashir Buba, the chairman Muslim Council of the Yola south local government chapter, commended the effort of the state council for conducting one of the most transparent election that led to the emergence of the new leadership. He also expressed appreciation for organizing such a highly reach workshop on capacity building in order to educate, liberate and remind the new leadership on their responsibilities. Some of the participants, expressed appreciation for the training, assured the Muslim ummah of their total support and sacrifices. The Muslim have been urged to live in peace with one another, and pray for the continued existence of the nation.
