Adamawa state Dep. Gov. Seeks Unity among the society.




Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farautahas has asked for unity of purpose among  the state chapter, Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria,(CAN)  in the state.


Addressing state officials in her office, Wednesday, Farauta cautioned them against playing politics with bitterness, instead they should concentrate on evangelism as role models and leaders in the society


She stressed that as mothers, they should always remain resolute and disciplined in all manner of decision making.


The Deputy Governor urged them to  work together towards advancing the kingdom of God.


Professor Farauta also advised them to intensify prayers amidst prevailing challenges.


Princess Edna Azura who serves as the chairperson main planning committee of WOWICAN 2024 convention said their visit was to congratulate the deputy governor on her elevation to a new strata in the  fresh air administration and victory at the supreme court.


Azura also used the visit to inform the Deputy Governor on the forth coming state convention slated for 11th-14th April, 2024.


Azura lauded the  successes by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government, urging them to sustain the tempo.

Police in Adamawa Arrestet 31 year for serial theft.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
