Easter celebrate police commissioner Direct to deployed personal across the state.




Adamawa state police Commissioner DanKombo Morris reassures Adamawa State Government and Good people of Adamawa State of his  commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens as they celebrate Easter. 


In line with the commitment of the Inspector General of Police IGP System of Policing, he has ordered for 24/7 Police presence to  dominate the public spaces across the State.


 CP,  directed that all Divisional police officers (DPOs), Operational Commanders and their supervising Area Commanders to personally lead the Men deployed  to areas of likely security threats within their respective areas of responsibility (AoRs). The proactive visibility patrols will be conducted at all places of worship, Event Centers, residential areas as well as other places of functions.


The Command emphasizes the importance of professional conduct among its officers deployed for these duties and warned that all officers to be accountable and transparent while discharging their responsibility.


The CP felicitates with the Government and people of the state especially the Christian community, on the occasion of the Easter celebration and  urge everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest Police Station.

Police in Adamawa Arrestet 31 year for serial theft.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Suspect will be Charge to Court upon Completion of investigation.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
