Police Arrested 58 suspect in Adamawa.

 



Adamawa state Police Command has  promised to  to eradicate criminal activities in the state.


Adamawa state Police Commissioner Dankombo Morris stated this while speaking to Newsmen on his achievement  since he  assumed office on 14 February 2024.



The Commissioner said when he took over of the affairs of the command,  the main  security  challengie is the menace of shila boys.



He said In a bid to checkmate their nefarious activities the command has  collaborated  with the hunters and  launched   a coordinated  seamless operation at sambisa forest here in Adamawa state.


The police commissioner described the sambisa forest as  a safe haven for the shila boys.



During one of the state command's raid about forty shila boys were arrested and dangerous weapons recovered from them. 



However the command has  Arrested Fifty eight suspects with  different  in the state which Include Kidnapping, Army robbery, shila, and others.



The Commissioner called on the people of Adamawa state to always support and cooperate with  security Agencies and provide  them usuful information which can lead to tackle Issue of insecurity in the state.



Also the  commissioner of Police on behalf of the officers and men of the command  appreciated and thanked    Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and good people of the state for their  continued  support and  assured timely prosecution of the suspects arrested upon  completion of investigation.


Some of the exhibits recovered by the command  includes one Toyota Prado Jeep with reg no Abj 344HX, a Hummer Bus reg. No Rush 79 FA and recovering 2 AK 47 and twenty five live ammunition. and others.

Police in Adamawa Arrestet 31 year for serial theft.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Suspect will be Charge to Court upon Completion of investigation.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
