CP engaged Traditional/ Religious Leaders, Critical Stakeholders* to tackle Issue of insecurity across the state.
Adamawa State Police Commissioner CP Dankombo Morris, Visits and Organised Police/Community engagement a Framework to preventing Shilla Gansterism Kidnapping, Armed robbery, Cattle Rustling and other nefarious activities across the Northern Zone.
The Commissioner of police interacts extensively with Critical Stakeholders, PCRC executives, Community leaders, Hunters /Vigilante leaders, representative of Grazers and Farmers, Business Men, Divisional police Officers Mubi North Mubi South, Maiha, Michika, Mugulvu Maraba Mubi, Madagali, ,, Uba-Hildi,, on the need to key into the Strategy already adopted by the Command to deal with all forms of Crimes in the state. He advises against actions and utterances that could be inimical to peace.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola Adamawa State Capital.
Similarly, the CP has charged all Police Officers and other law enforcement agents to act in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of the force and other extant laws guiding their overall conduct .
He warns that any police Officer found acting contrary to their oaths of office or behaving in a way and manner prejudicial to discipline will be strictly and personally held liable .
The Senior and Critical Stakeholder, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, CFR ,the Emir of Mubi keyed into the Command's initiative and strategies to preventing crimes.While expressing his maximum support to the laudable initiative, he equally thanked the Commissioner of police for the Visit to his Kingdom.
The Commissioner of police was accompanied by Deputy Commissioners of police in charge of investigations/ Operations DCP Dankaro U Ayuba, DCP Fakeye Olubunmi Olubode, Commander 14 pmf Yola , AC State Intelligence Department and other Senior police officers.
