Yola north council boss reassures commitment to security, development







Yola North Local Government Council Chairman, Barrister Jibrin Ibrahim Jimeta has reiterated his commitment to protect the lives and property of the communities of Yola North in Adamawa state.


Barrister Jimeta made this known in an interview with Newsmen during the inauguration of the First Aid Group of the Jama'atul Nasril Islam, held at its headquarters in Yola.


The Chairman said despite the economic challenges and hardship, the council is working tirelessly with the security agencies to overcome the security challenges bedeviling the LGA to ensure peaceful coexistence.


Barr Jibrin Jimeta promises to work for unity and development among the communities of Yola North Local Government Area of the state.


He called on the communities to give maximum support to the leadership of the Local Government Council, to enable them to continue with the good work they have embarked on in the entire local government area.


Barr Jimeta commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his developmental projects in the state and advised the people of Adamawa state to support him, which he said will help him to continue with the developmental activities across the twenty-one local government areas in the state.


He also advised the people of the state to continue praying to seek Allah's intervention to tackle the issue of insecurity and hardship in the Yola North Local Government and the state at large.
