NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

By Alhassan Haladu Yola. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has deployed  2,521 personnel* across the state to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration. The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period. Public Relation Officer of the Command Adamawa state DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. Commandant Bande charged the deployed officers and men to maintain high visibility, professionalism, and vigilance at strategic locations, including worship centres, recreational areas, motor parks, markets, and other public gatherings. AIG AKINWALE ORDERS TRAINING FOR POLICE CONSTABLES ON WEAPON HANDLING.

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, in-charge of Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran has instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations to conduct training for police Constables on weapon handling.  Zonal Police Public Relation Officer Zone 3 Yola command SP Aminu Umar Bashir states this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola  The training which commence today, is inline with the recent instruction from the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu  to ensure that all police officers receive proper and standardized training in thier profession. At the conclusion of the program, the participating officers will proceed to the shooting range for practical exercises.   He also called the participant to use their knowledge which learning during the training for the development and peace co existing among the society.

Police Advocate Safe Driving and Peaceful Conduct Ahead of National Police Day in Adamawa

To ensure the safety of lives and property of travelers, drivers have been urged to avoid overloading passengers and goods, as well as overspeeding and other unsafe practices, in order to improve road safety and enhance their performance effectively. The Commissioner of Police in Adamawa State, Kabiru Umar Hassan, made this call while addressing drivers during an awareness campaign held at the main motor park in Jambutu, Yola North Local Government Area of the state. The Commissioner explained that the campaign was organized to safeguard the lives and property of travelers on roads across Nigeria, noting that improved road safety would contribute significantly to national development.
