NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has deployed 2,521 personnel* across the state to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration.
The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
Public Relation Officer of the Command Adamawa state DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
Commandant Bande charged the deployed officers and men to maintain high visibility, professionalism, and vigilance at strategic locations, including worship centres, recreational areas, motor parks, markets, and other public gatherings. He further directed them to work in synergy and collaboration with sister security agencies to achieve a hitch-free Easter festivities.
The Commandant urged the general public to go about their lawful activities without fear, assuring them of the Corps' commitment to a secure environment. He also called on residents to support the NSCDC and other security agencies by providing credible and timely intelligence information that could help prevent any form of security breach.
"Security is a collective responsibility. We appeal to the good people of Adamawa State to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest NSCDC office or other security agencies," the Commandant stated.
The NSCDC Adamawa State Command wishes all Christian faithful and the entire people of Adamawa State a happy and peaceful Easter celebration.
