ADC Candidate Declares Support for PDP Candidate in Taraba.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency by-election, scheduled for February 3, 2024, as inconclusive. 



As a result, the re-run election in some polling units is now set for February 14, 2024. 



Hon. Abdulrazaq Gidado (JAWAR), the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in Taraba State, has expressed his support for Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.



In a press release issued on Sunday, Gidado's media adviser, Sule Sani, conveyed Gidado's position. 


Gidado called upon his numerous supporters to support the PDP candidate by turning out en masse to vote for him.



He expressed his confidence in Sadiq Abbas Tafida, citing their shared ideology and the latter's youth and energy, which make him a strong representative for the Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency among all the candidates of the various political parties.


Gidado believes that Sadiq Abbas Tafida possesses the qualities, knowledge, and ideas necessary to address the needs of the people in the constituency if given the mandate. 



He has also developed strategies to execute developmental projects for the people in the constituency, which he believes Sadiq Abbas Tafida has outlined. 


If elected, Gidado is convinced that Sadiq Abbas Tafida will surpass expectations and exceed his plans.


Therefore, he further urged his supporters to turn out in large numbers on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, to vote for Sadiq Abbas Tafida.
