ADAMAWA CP ENGAGES TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO SUSTAUNED CRIME FIGTHING

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Kabir Umar Hassan,paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha,phd, CFR, where he sought for collaboration, Royal blessings and guidance in the discharge of his duties.
Police public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
The CP was accompanied by members of his management team and other senior police officers of the Command.
During the visit, the police boss emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in maintaining peace and security, noting that the support and cooperation of royal fathers remain vital in effective community policing. He assured the Lamido of his commitment to inclusive policing strategies and strengthened collaboration with all stakeholders across the State.
In his remarks, the Lamido of Adamawa, warmly welcomed the Commissioner of Police and offered prayers for wisdom, success, and a peaceful tenure. He further assured the Command of the continued support and cooperation of the traditional institution in promoting peace, unity, and security across the State.
