Taraba State government have been urged to Improved security across the state.

Hon. Abdulrazak Gidado, who seeks to represent the Jalingo Yorro and Zing Federal Constituency in the upcoming by-election in Taraba State, has called on the state government to enhance security measures in the fight against banditry and kidnapping in the state. This call was made via a statement signed by his Media Director of Publicity, Mr. Sani Sulaiman, and issued to the press in Jalingo. The statement expressed concern about the rising incidences of kidnappings and killings of innocent citizens by bandits in some parts of the state. Hon. Abdulrazak Gidado who is contesting under the platform of African Democratic Congress ADC, therefore urged both the state and federal governments to take urgent action to curb this menace.
He also called on the security agencies to apply new strategies in dealing with the criminals. Hon. Abdulrazak Gidado further appealed to the people of the State to be security-conscious and to provide security personnel with any useful information that can assist in achieving the set goals. He also assured the people of Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing of his commitment to providing them with dividends of democracy, including a women and youth empowerment scheme, if elected to represent them at the Green Chamber. Finally, Hon. Gidado expressed his appreciation for the peaceful coexistence of the people in his Constituency and urged them to maintain the tempo.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
