Parents and teachers have been advised to unite to ensure better education to children

As part of activities marking Children’s Day, parents and teachers have been advised to unite and work closely to ensure better education for children across Adamawa State. The Acting Executive Secretary of the Post Primary Schools Management Board, Adamawa State, Mr. Birsan Penuel, gave the advice while speaking with journalists in Yola. Mr. Birsan Penuel emphasized the importance of strong coordination between parents and teachers, noting that such collaboration helps children learn better and promotes peace and development in communities. He also called on stakeholders in the education sector to work together in order to continue contributing to the growth and development of education in the state. Mr. Penuel pledged to continue doing everything possible to encourage teachers and students and to strengthen the relationship between them, especially in secondary schools across the state. NSCDC ADAMAWA COMMAND PROMOTE IT PERSONAL.

The Adamawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Idris Dahiru Bande, has called on personnel to uphold the values of trust, honesty, and accountability in order to enhance the image of the organization. He made the call while addressing officers at the command headquarters in Yola, following the commendable act of one of his personnel, Abubakar Abdulkadir Mayos, who returned a lost bag containing five hundred dollars and three hundred Saudi Riyals, and other valuables worth approximately ₦850,000.  The bag belonged to Mainuna Salihu, an intending pilgrim from Taraba State scheduled for the 2025 Hajj from Yola International Airport. Commandant Bande applauded Mayos not only for his integrity but also for helping to project a positive image of the Corps.  He announced that the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, had approved Mayos' immediate promotion from Corps Assistant II to Corps Assistant I in recognition of his honesty. Makka Update: First batch of Adamawa State pilgrims have arrived Makka safely from Madina.

The first batch of 482 pilgrims,  have arrived at Makka and  they are warmly  welcomed by the members of accommodation committee, Alhaji Adamu Ahmed, Alhaji Barkindo Abdullahi Yakubu and Aisha Saad, alongside staff of Nusuk Al Safi Hotel. The pilgrims were  received by Mudawwaf, Ekram Aldyf company,  who received  each pilgrims passport and put a hand band on each pilgrim for identification of pilgrim in case of lost. The companies,  Ekram Al Dayf and  Muwasem AlKhairat,  organized a warm reception, with sumptuous  Food, fruits,Dates and  assorted gifts to each pilgrim  in hospitality. The members of  accomodation committee, handed over compliment cards of the Hotel, and keys of the Room allocated to each local government, that have arrived  to their schedule officers,  to assist the pilgrims locate their Rooms. ADAMAWA POLICE COMMAND ARRESTED MAN DRESSED AND DISGUISED AS A WOMAN, ARRESTED AT NGURORE LCCN CHURCH PREMISES

 Adamawa State Police Command,  arrested one Mohammed Umar, 19years old, a resident of Abuja Road, Yola South local Government area, loitering within Ngurore LCCN church premises, wearing clothing that is typically associated with an opposite sex (women). In line with the directive of the Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, to clamp down on all forms of illegal mining across the country, the Adamawa State Command under the leadership of Commandant Idris Dahiru Bande, has once again recorded a major success in enforcing this national policy. NSCDC Operatives Ban Illegal Mining in Adamawa

In line with the directive of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),  Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi, PhD, to clamp down on illegal mining activities across the country, the Adamawa State Command, under the leadership of Commander Idris Dahiru, has recorded a major breakthrough. Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command DSC Amidu Nyako Baba Stated this an interview with Newsmen in Yola. Acting on credible intelligence and in alignment with the National Mining Policy, NSCDC operatives successfully dismantled illegal mining sites in Dumne, Adamawa State. During the operation, over 30 tons of illegally mined fluoride were recovered, valued at several millions of naira. Several suspects were apprehended during the raid and are currently in custody. Investigations are ongoing, and charges are expected to be filed soon. 22 YEARS OLD ARRESTED FOR SODOMY AND DEFILING OF FOUR (4) MINORS in Adamawa.

 Adamawa State Police Command attached to State intelligent Department (SID), has arrested one Habubakar Umar, 22 years old, a resident of Rumde Baru, Yola North local government area and a commercial tricyclist, for an alleged act of sodomizing four (4)  four little male children aged between 8 and 9. Police Public Relation Officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in yola. The arrest followed a complaint from the victim's parent who reported that the suspect was hired to be conveying their children to school. However, took advantage of that and, on several occasions, lued them into an unnatural offence. The suspect confessed committing the crime and blamed devil.
