The Adamawa State Police Command has recorded a major breakthrough in its sustained effort to combat crime and criminality across the State, with the arrest of seventy three (73) suspects during a coordinated joint security operation in Mubi and its environs.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Sueliman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.



The operation, carried out in collaboration with sister security agencies, was a direct response to concerns raised by members of the communities, supported by credible intelligence over the activities of suspected criminals operating within identified black spots and hideouts in the areas.



Acting on this information, security operatives stormed identified black spots and hideouts and successfully dislodged criminal elements and restored public confidence. The suspects arrested are believed to be involved in offences ranging from , drug-related crimes, House to House Robbery and other violence crimes.



The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, 𝐂𝐏 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫 𝐔𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐟𝐝𝐜, reiterates the Command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property. He noted that the operation forms part of ongoing proactive strategies aimed at ensuring that no part of the State serves as a safe haven for criminals.



The Command commends the invaluable support and cooperation of the public and sister security agencies. urges residents to continue providing timely and useful information to security agencies to enhance effective policing.



All suspects are currently undergoing thorough screening and investigation, after which those found culpable will be charged to court in accordance with the law.
