The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, 𝐶𝑃 𝐾𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑟 𝑈𝑚𝑎𝑟 𝐻𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑛, 𝑐, on 1st June, 2026, decorated 540 newly promoted Corporals who were recently elevated from the rank of Constable to the rank of Corporal in the Command Headquarters.



Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The promotion exercise forms part of the welfare and motivation initiatives of the Inspector-General of Police, 𝐈𝐆𝐏 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐢 𝐑𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐮 𝐍𝐏𝐌 aimed at rewarding diligence, dedication, and outstanding service among personnel of the Force.


While decorating the officers, the Commissioner of Police congratulated the promotees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by exhibiting the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, discipline, and commitment to duty. He emphasized that promotion comes with greater responsibilities and urged them to remain loyal to the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.


Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, 𝐂𝐩𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 expressed profound appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, the Police Management Team, and the Commissioner of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion. She pledged the unwavering commitment, professionalism, and undoubted loyalty of the promotees in the discharge of their duties.


The colourful ceremony was attended by senior police officers, families, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the achievement of the newly promoted personnels
