 By Alhassan  Haladu Yola.

The President of Northern Nigeria Traders Association, Alhaji Muhammadu Ibrahim, has called on business associations across the country to unite and speak with one voice to foster meaningful development in commercial activities.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital, Alhaji Ibrahim identified  lack of unity among traders’ associations as a major cause of setbacks in the business sector.

He emphasized that solidarity among traders is crucial for attracting support in various areas and overcoming common challenges.

While acknowledging the efforts of the Adamawa State Government in providing vocational skills training, Alhaji Ibrahim urged the administration to intensify its support for small-scale traders.

He highlighted that empowering this sector is vital for improving the state’s overall economic health.

Beyond economic issues, the association leader also addressed civic participation.

He advised all citizens without Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), or those facing issues with their cards, to promptly register or correct the problems to ensure they can exercise their right to vote in upcoming elections.

Alhaji Muhammadu Ibrahim offered prayers for peace and security in Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
