ADAMAWA POLICE RECOVER STOLEN TOYOTA HILUX, ARREST TWO SUSPECTS

The Adamawa State Police Command has recovered a stolen *Toyota Hilux* vehicle and arrested *two suspects* in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property. Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The suspects, *Mustapha Suleiman* of Wuro Hausa and *Rabiu Garba*, 38, of Jambutu, were arrested following a report by *Aliyu Usman*. The complainant discovered that the Toyota Hilux he purchased for *₦7.5 million* had been reported stolen. Preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen from *Rivers State in June 2026* and transported to Adamawa State by a suspect identified as *Mati*, who is currently at large. The fleeing suspect allegedly conspired with the two arrested persons and sold the vehicle to the complainant. PHONE SCAM:- POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTS FOR DEFRAUDING CUSTOMERS WITH DUMMY PHONES

Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested two suspects for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting customers by selling them dummy phones instead of original working devices. The suspects, Audu Abubakar and Nasiru Hassan, both residents of Bauchi Street, Yola North LGA, were apprehended following complaints from victims who discovered that the phones purchased were non-functional replicas. THOUSANDS OF RURAL VOTERS IN ADAMAWA AT RISK OF MISSING 2027 ELECTIONS

Thousands of eligible voters in rural communities across Adamawa State risk missing the 2027 general elections due to poor awareness of Permanent Voter Card PVC registration and collection. A Radio Nigeria survey found that inadequate awareness and limited access to registration and collection centres have hindered many eligible voters from obtaining their PVCs.
