AIG ZONE 3, AKINWALE KUNLE ADENIRAN BOWS OUT OF SERVICE.

On 3rd July, 2026, officers and men of the Zone 3 Command Headquarters, Yola, celebrated the successful and meritorious retirement of Assistant Inspector General of Police, *AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni, mspsp,* who officially bowed out of the Nigeria Police Force after thirty-four (34) years of dedicated and exemplary service to the Nation.
Police Public Relation Officer Zone 3 Command Yola SP Aminu Bashir Umar discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
The farewell ceremony was attended by the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Police Command, *CP. Hassan Kabir Umar fdc,* together with members of his management team, friends, and other stakeholders who gathered to honour his remarkable career and invaluable contributions to policing and public safety.
CP Hassan expressed his appreciation to the AIG for his mentorship, exemplary leadership, and the invaluable support he has provided to the Command through his wealth of experience in both operational and administrative responsibilities. He noted that the AIG's positive impact will continue to inspire and shape their professional careers until the day they too, are going to retire from the Force.
In his farewell address, AIG Akinwale expressed his heartfelt appreciation to CP's Adamawa and his Taraba State counterpart, officers and men of Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola, including members of the public, for their unwavering support, cooperation, and goodwill throughout his years of service. He encouraged officers to remain committed to professionalism, integrity, and selfless service.
The event featured goodwill messages, and other memorable activities in celebration of his outstanding service to the nation.
The ceremony rounded up with a group photograph and warm wishes as AIG Akinwale began a new chapter after a distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force.
