GOVERNOR FINTIRI ASSURES HIS COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT NSCDC TO ENHENCE SECURITY ACROSS THE STATE.

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting NSCDC in the discharge of its constitutional mandate across the state.


Public Relation Officer Adamawa NSCDC Command DSC Amidu Nyako Baba Stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The assurance was given when the newly deployed Adamawa State Commandant, Commandant Nasiru Saleh, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House, Yola, following his assumption of duty.


During the visit, Commandant Saleh conveyed the warm regards and best wishes of the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, while expressing profound appreciation for the cordial relationship and sustained support the Adamawa State Government has consistently extended to the Corps.


The State Commandant reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to collaborating with the state government and sister security agencies to enhance the protection of lives, property, critical national assets, and infrastructure, as well as strengthen peace and public safety throughout Adamawa State.


In his response, Governor Fintiri warmly welcomed the new State Commandant and assured him of his administration's continuous support for the NSCDC to enable it to effectively carry out its statutory responsibilities.


The Adamawa State Command remains committed to professionalism, effective service delivery, and closer collaboration with all stakeholders in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents of the state.
