Following a review of the security situation and the noticeable improvement in Lamurde Local Government Area, the Adamawa State Government has approved the relaxation of the curfew earlier imposed on the area following the prolonged crisis. Chief Press Secretary to the Adamawa state Governor Humwashi Wonosikou stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, said that the relaxed curfew takes immediate effect and will now be in force from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily until further notice.
