FRSC, Adamawa PHCDA Strengthen Partnership as Agency Donates Essential Drugs to Command Clinic

 Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) following a courtesy visit by its Executive Chairman to the Sector Commander, FRSC Adamawa Sector Command, Corps Commander Ibrahim A. Sadiq.



Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SRC A H Tukur discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.



The visit, which took place at the Sector Command Headquarters in Yola on Monday, was in fulfilment of the Executive Chairman's promise to reciprocate an earlier courtesy visit by the Sector Commander to the Agency.



During the meeting, both organisations pledged to deepen their partnership in areas critical to public safety and healthcare delivery. Their discussions focused on capacity building and training for personnel, improvement of ambulance and emergency response services across Adamawa State, as well as enhanced collaboration between Primary Health Care Centres in the Local Government Areas and FRSC Unit Commands to strengthen emergency medical response, referral services, and public health interventions.



Speaking during the visit, the Executive Chairman assured the Sector Commander of the Agency's commitment to sustaining the existing partnership while exploring additional areas of cooperation for the benefit of the people of Adamawa State.



As part of the visit, the Executive Chairman donated a consignment of essential drugs to the FRSC Adamawa Sector Command for use at the Command's Zonal Clinic. He also pledged continued medical support to the Command whenever the need arises.




In his remarks, Corps Commander Ibrahim A. Sadiq expressed appreciation for the donation and the Agency's support, noting that the partnership would further enhance the Command's capacity to provide timely emergency medical care to crash victims and other road users.



The high point of the visit was the exchange of commemorative plaques between the two organisations as a symbol of their mutual respect and enduring partnership. The event concluded with a group photograph involving members of the management teams of both the FRSC Adamawa Sector Command and the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency.



Both organisations expressed optimism that the strengthened collaboration would improve road traffic crash emergency response, healthcare service delivery, and capacity development, ultimately contributing to the safety and well-being of road users and residents of Adamawa State.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
