Adamawa State Residents Lauds NMDPRA for making petroleum available in the state.

Some residents of Adamawa State has praised the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) for its ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with NNPC official pump prices and abiding by other regulations at gas stations.


Our correspondent reports that fuel stations across Yola, the state capital, have swiftly adjusted their prices to align with regulatory standards.


Malam Umar Bala, a resident said that the ongoing operations have impacted positively on how marketers sales their product.


According to him, as seen in the News, like Abuja, Lagos and other Neighboring some marketers hold the product in their various stations and sale above official pumps price with long queue like others State. Which we don't have in Adamawa like our Neighboring State.


Mr Markus Ishaya motorist, explained that the operation have now resulted to availability of the product with minimal queue in various stations.


It was observed that the NNPC filling stations sold  petrol product at the cost of N630 per liter, while other marketers sold between N800 to N950 per liter.


The Adamawa state controller (NMDPRA) Dr Bashir Sirajo  controller In Adamawa earlier reminded the marketers to always abide by rules and regulations for a successful business in the state.


The Controller, Dr Sirajo and his team are always on the Fields to ensure the Eliminate of malpractice by markers and Regular engagement with critical stakeholders', partners. In progress efforts in reduced the Fuel scarcity in the state which we are seen in others Neighboring State 


He also emphasized on the importance of adhering to safety protocols to prevent any disasters.


Some civil servants also expressed their satisfaction with these developments, although many have called on the government to provide alternative transportation work places, such as buses and electric vehicles.


Meanwhile, motorists and commercial cab operators have voiced concerns over the price hikes, as some members reportedly exploring alternative business ventures due high cost of petrol.
