NSCDC Deployed Personal across Twenty one local government in Adamawa for Sallah celebrations.
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Adamawa State Command, deployed personnel to various worship centers across the state during Eid-el-Fitr to ensure a peaceful Sallah celebration.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSC Amidu Nyako Baba, disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Yola.
He stated that under the leadership of Commander Idris Bande, personnel were deployed across the 21 local government areas of the state to maintain security at Eid grounds and other Sallah celebration centers.
The Command urged the public to cooperate with security agencies before, during, and after the celebrations to promote peaceful coexistence in the state.
DSC Nyako also called on parents to take care of their children during the festivities to prevent any breach of the law.
He assured the people of Adamawa State of the NSCDC’s commitment to protecting lives and property and urged the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion to pray for unity and peace in their communities.
