The officers who were decorated by the Commissioner of Police CP Morris Dankombo, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Investigation DCP Hamzat Tambai, urged the newly promoted officers to discharge their duties with diligence and dedication.

Describing their new rank as a call to duty and more sacrifice,  Commissioner Dankombo said their promotion to such rank, was not  coincidence but rather a testament to their hardwork and commitment to duty, urging them to continue to exhibit good public-policing spirit for a more better, safer and crime-free society.

He therefore charged them to see the opportunity as an avenue to improve on their service to humanity and strengthen public trust on the activities of the police and promote the image of the command and the entire Nigerian Police Force by upholding the principles, values and the laws that characterize the service.
