A Brighter Future Through Vaccination

In a heartfelt appeal, the Village Head of Bole, Mallam Abdulmumini Abubakar, urged parents in Bole Yolde Pate Ward to prioritize vaccinations and immunizations for their children.
Speaking at a forum organized by Fathers for Good Health under the Ward Development Committee of Shagari Primary Health Care Committee, Yola, the Village Head emphasized that these health initiatives are crucial, especially after recent floods and community challenges.
He noted with delight with the forum, which reviewed the recently concluded integrated immunization exercise, showcasing the power of community engagement and collaboration.
Mallam Abdulmumini Abubakar praised the government for their proactive approach and stakeholders for their dedication during the exercise.
The Chairman of Fathers for Good Health, Yola South Local Government Area LGA, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed commended the Bole Yolde Pate branch for their initiative in conducting a debrief exercise, setting a precedent for future health services in the community.
Representing Fathers for Good Health, Bole Yolde Pate Ward, Shehu Usman Aliyu called for the integration of the group into the health services scheme, emphasizing that this would lead to more effective healthcare delivery.
Mrs. Balthiya Vincent and Alhaji Abdullahi Ishaq, who participated in the exercise, highlighted the pivotal role of Fathers for Good Health in increasing the number of beneficiaries and minimizing resistance.
They noted that vaccinations and immunizations are key to a healthier future by working together and embracing these initiatives, for the community to build a stronger and more resilient society.
In his comments the Ward Supervisor of the immunization exercise, Comrade Umaru Ahmed, thanked stakeholders for their cooperation, while Mr. Yohanna Manje advised stakeholders to employ compassion, compromise, commitment and collaboration in addressing conflicts in the discharge of their duties.
The forum concluded with commendations for the state, local, and national supervisors for their effective supervision, which contributed to the success of the exercise.
The session ended with a dream presentation on tolerance and effective communication, empowering the community to work together towards a brighter future.
