ADAMAWA CP ORDERS IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGED HOUSE ARMED ROBBERY IN NGURORE, YOLA SOUTH LGA

 Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to immediately commence a thorough investigation into an alleged armed robbery incident involving Mr. Akwarakiram Abel, 25 years old, a POS operator residing at Sabon Pegi, Ngurore, Yola South LGA.


The Directives follows a complaint received from family members that on 21st November, 2025, between hours of 3:00am to 4:00am, yet-to-be-identified men armed themselves with offensive weapons invaded the victim’s residence, attacked, and robbed him of his belongings. Most worrisome,  the assailants inflicted severe injuries on the victim using a cutlass, resulting in the amputation of his hand.


The CP assured that a comprehensive investigation will be carried out to ensure the arrest of the perpetrators and to guarantee that justice is served without delay.


The Command reiterates its unwavering commitment to upholding safety and security of all residents across the state, while assuring Members of the public  of improved collaboration towards protecting lives and properties.
