ADAMAWA POLICE COMMAND CONDUCTS SECURITY ASSESSMENT ACROSS KEY SCHOOL FACILITIES IN THE STATE.

The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, in sustained effort designed the operational action plan to intensify security checks and engagements across the state through strategic assessments and strengthened stakeholder collaboration aimed at enhancing schools and public safety.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola 


 command in  compliance with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, had interactive sessions with the critical stakeholders and schools representatives to draw a security ring across key government assets, schools and police facilities.The CP along with the command's School protection squad (SPS) Coordinator  embarked on a comprehensive assessment tour within the state after the fruitful engagements, they reviewed the existing security arrangements and underscored the need for continuous improving the scorecard by implementing safety and well-being of all persons utilizing these public institutions.


 Affirming the assiduous working relationship with the state Government officials and sister security agencies to enhance security  measures across these critical infrastructures, His Excellency RT Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, announces temporary conversion of boarding schools into day schooling activities 


Building on this mission, the Commissioner of Police visited some schools and police facilities and formations in and around Girei local government area of Adamawa State. He assessed and improved the security architecture on ground, and encouraged the personnel deployed to maintain the standard operational procedure (SOP) and professionalism. 


consolidating these efforts, the police Boss directed all Tactical teams, Divisional Police officers and their supervisory Area commanders to cover all areas and conduct regular supervisory visits.  These proactive measure is aimed at sustaining vigilance, strengthening coordination, and ensuring the early detection of emerging security concerns.


In continuation of his tour, the Commissioner of Police will proceed to Song, Gombi down to Garkida and areas bordering with Borno state. 


The Command will continue working on the initiative and directives of the Inspector-General of Police to advancing effective policing initiatives

Born on January 1, 1941 (21 Zul Hajj 1358), Bobboi Muhammad Ahmad lived a life marked by dedication to his faith and family. He is survived by a large and loving family, including 13 sons, 6 daughters, and 77 grandchildren. Known for his strong family ties and leadership within his community, his legacy is further carried on by his only surviving sister. In reflecting on his life, the family recalled his fondness for caring for pigeons, with 7 still in his care at the time of his passing. "Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un," his family stated in a message, expressing their full submission to the will of Allah. His passing marks a significant loss, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
