CP ADAMAWA RECEIVES OPERATIONAL VEHICLES FROM ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNMENT

The proactive policing strategies of the Adamawa State Police Command have continued to receive commendable support from the Adamawa State Government, as the Commissioner of Police, *CP Dankombo Morris, psc(+),* today, 21st November 2025, received twenty-one (21) operational vehicles donated by the Adamawa State Government to the Adamawa State Police Command in support of the ongoing efforts at repositioning the crime-fighting strategy for optimal performance in the state.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen Yola.



The vehicles, Innoson IVM G6C/GRANITE Series, consisting of double-cabin pickup Hilux fitted with security gadgets, were presented to the command by His Excellency, *Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON,* in furtherance of his continued support to the command’s community policing problem-oriented policing, and focused deterrence, which aim to prevent crime before it happens and make the state peaceful, safe, and secure.


The CP, in his remarks, expressed his appreciation to the police-friendly Governor for his kind gesture towards the command. He noted that with this kind of support, the police will no doubt be able to meet its operational and infrastructural needs in combating crime and criminality in the state. He enjoined other well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies to complement this gesture so as to sustain the already existing peace in the state.

Born on January 1, 1941 (21 Zul Hajj 1358), Bobboi Muhammad Ahmad lived a life marked by dedication to his faith and family. He is survived by a large and loving family, including 13 sons, 6 daughters, and 77 grandchildren. Known for his strong family ties and leadership within his community, his legacy is further carried on by his only surviving sister. In reflecting on his life, the family recalled his fondness for caring for pigeons, with 7 still in his care at the time of his passing.
