Governor Fintiri Equips Security Agencies with New Fleet, NSCDC Vows Heightened Vigilance

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has officially presented a fleet of newly acquired, Nigerian-made operational patrol vehicles to security agencies in the state, further enhancing their capacity in the ongoing effort to combat insecurity.
Public Relation Officer N S C D C Adamawa state Command DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
In his remarks, the Governor commended the steadfast commitment of the various security formations whose collective contributions have continued to uphold Adamawa’s status as one of the most peaceful states in the country. He explained that the deployment of the new vehicles is intended to strengthen their operations, ensuring safer communities and allowing residents to go about their daily activities with renewed confidence.
Commandant ID Bande, State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, expressed heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency for the gesture, describing it as a clear testament to the Governor’s commitment to the protection and welfare of citizens. He conveyed the Corps’ gratitude and assured that the NSCDC will continue to strengthen its operational support for the government’s security initiatives.
Commandant highlighted that the vehicles represent a substantial morale booster for frontline personnel. He emphasized that the enhanced mobility will greatly improve rapid and coordinated responses to distress calls, help tackle emerging security threats, and keep operatives vigilant and fully prepared to confront criminal elements across the state.
He reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to deploying the vehicles effectively and to upholding the confidence the Governor has placed in the state’s security apparatus.
