‎Adamawa Group Praises Fintiri’s Security Drive, Developmental Strides ‎

By Alhassan Haladu Yola. ‎ ‎Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has been commended for his commitment to improving security and executing developmental projects across the state. ‎ ‎The Chairman of the Attarahun Foundation, Mallam Mukhtar Dayyib, gave the commendation while speaking with journalists in Yola. ‎ ‎According to him, Governor Fintiri has placed strong emphasis on security, a move he said has significantly enhanced peace and stability in Adamawa State. At least Forty youths men and women are set to receive

Forty young men and women in Adamawa State are set to receive training in various vocational skills as part of efforts to promote peace and tackle unemployment among youths. The vocational training programme, which will be organised by the Attarahun Foundation, will cover areas such as tailoring, poultry farming, soap making, and other income-generating skills aimed at empowering young people. The Chairman of the Foundation in Adamawa State, Mallam Mukhtar Dayyib, disclosed this ahead of the graduation ceremony scheduled to hold in Yola after the completion of the training. Mallam Dayyib explained that the initiative was conceived in response to the growing challenge of youth unemployment, which often exposes young people to social and economic distractions.  He said the foundation decided to focus on skill acquisition to enable youths become self-reliant and improve their living conditions. New FRSC SECTOR COMMANDER TAKE OVER IN ADAMAWA.

The outgoing Sector Commander, CC Abdulmaliq Dama Bello, officially handed over the duties ans responsibilities, of RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command to the newly posted Sector Commander, CC Sadiq A. Ibrahim, in line with the directives of the National Headquarters. SEC AH Tukur information officer FRSC Adamawa state Command discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. ‎WFP Warns of Looming Food Shortages in North-East Nigeria ‎

‎By Alhassan Haladu Yola. ‎The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has raised the alarm over an impending food shortage in Nigeria’s North-East region, calling on the Federal and state governments to take urgent steps to address the situation across the region. ‎ ‎The warning was highlighted by an agricultural expert in Adamawa State, Alhaji Usman Suleiman Pallam, during an interview with journalists in Yola. ‎ ‎Alhaji Pallam urged the Federal Government and state governments in the region to intensify support for farmers by providing essential farming inputs to boost dry-season farming, noting that this would help bridge the current food gap and avert a full-blown food crisis. ‎ ‎He explained that farmers in the North-East face numerous challenges during the rainy farming season, particularly the high cost of inputs such as fertilizer, pesticides, and other agro-chemicals, which he said has resulted in heavy losses for many farmers. ‎ ‎According to him, whenever early warning si...

In commemoration of World Education Day, the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board  Mr. Birsan Penuel, has issued a strong appeal for collaboration among all stakeholders to elevate education standards both locally and globally. The call was made during an exclusive interview with Newsmen  in Yola on Thursday. Mr. Penuel emphasized the critical role of parents in the educational journey of their children. He urged them to pay close attention and ensure their wards receive quality education, stating that parental involvement is indispensable for proper child development.
