Emir of Maiha Urges Traditional Title Holders to Promote Peace and Unity ‎

Former VC ATBU Professor Buba Bajoga passed away in United Kingdom.

Bajoga who died on Thursday at the age of 88. The Registrar and Secretary of Council of the University, Kabiru Garba Aminu in a statement issued to newsmen in Bauchi said Professor Buba G. Bajoga passed away on Thursday, 5th February 2026, in the United Kingdom where he will subsequently be buried. Kabiru Garba said the late Professor Buba G. Bajoga was a renowned academic in the field of Electrical Engineering, who served as the Second Vice-Chancellor of ATBU and also as the former Managing Director of Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL). Sadiq, convened a stakeholders’ meeting with officials and members of the Amalgamated Tricycle Union of Adamawa State. The meeting was held following deliberations at the State Security Agencies’ meeting, where issues bordering on the activities of tricycle operators and their implications on the overall security of the state were raised. Adamawa State Police Command wishes to announce to the Public that the Command's Operatives attached to 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐒𝐏𝐔) will conduct a one-day shooting range exercise/training at Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) Base, along Mubi Road, Girei Local Government Area. At least Forty youths men and women are set to receive

Forty young men and women in Adamawa State are set to receive training in various vocational skills as part of efforts to promote peace and tackle unemployment among youths. The vocational training programme, which will be organised by the Attarahun Foundation, will cover areas such as tailoring, poultry farming, soap making, and other income-generating skills aimed at empowering young people. The Chairman of the Foundation in Adamawa State, Mallam Mukhtar Dayyib, disclosed this ahead of the graduation ceremony scheduled to hold in Yola after the completion of the training. The outgoing Sector Commander, CC Abdulmaliq Dama Bello, officially handed over the duties ans responsibilities, of RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command to the newly posted Sector Commander, CC Sadiq A. ‎WFP Warns of Looming Food Shortages in North-East Nigeria ‎
