‎Empowering Women: 250 to Receive Financial Literacy Training in Adamawa ‎

‎About 250 women from Doubeli and Nasarawo communities in Yola North Lvernment Area of Adamawa State are set to benefit from training on how to open and manage savings accounts with Moniepoint Bank.

‎The initiative was announced by Alhaji Auwal Usman, a gubernatorial aspirant in Adamawa State, during an interactive session with women held at Imam Mal in Nasarawo.

‎Addressing the gathering, Alhaji Usman explained that his major priorities are the fight against poverty and hunger. He said his outreach programs are aimed at sensitizing youths and women on skills acquisition and self-reliance, which he believes are key to sustainable development and lasting peace.

‎He further stated that his vision includes providing training opportunities for both male and female youths across Adamawa State to enable them secure meaningful and self-sustaining employment.

‎ According to him, empowering young people economically is an effective way of reducing unemployment and social challenges.

‎The aspirant also revealed plans to establish a vocational training center in Nasarawo community. He noted that the center would serve as a platform for equipping youths and women from Doubeli and Nasarawo with practical skills that would improve their livelihoods.

‎Alhaji Usman used the occasion to encourage eligible citizens to register and obtain their voter cards, stressing that active participation in elections is essential for choosing credible leaders.

‎He concluded by urging residents of the communities to remain united and peaceful, emphasizing that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of harmony and cooperation.
