Police in Adamawa Arrest25 years old over killing his Friend.





Adamawa State Police Command on  apprehended a 25 years old for stabbing to death his close friend Usman..  and Robbed him of his Motorcycle and the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira(20,000)


The suspect, Yahaya Balarabe, a resident of Dage Village, Ganye Local Government Area accompanied the Victim to his farm with pretence to assist him spray Chemicals on his farm, there and then, the suspect, brutally attacked and killed the deceased, Usman by Stabbing him with a Sharp Cutlass on the head and threw him into a gutter.

Adamawa State Police Public Relation Officer SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The suspect was apprehended following the report received from the Deceased family members and recovery of material evidences at the scene of the crime which is linked to him.


Interestingly, the suspect voluntarily made a confessional statement Committing the Crime,  adding that he was only interested in taking possession of the deceased Motorcycle and Money. 


The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris,  while expressing disappointment over the unfortunate incident, Commended Operatives of Ganye Divisional police Headquarters for Detecting, arresting and making it impossible for the Suspect to escape Justice.


Meanwhile, as part of the  command's effort in tackling Criminal activities and other related offences in the state, the has directed Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of CID to takeover investigation and ensure law takes its course. 


The CP equally calls on the citizens to always report people of suspicious character around their neighbourhoods to the police.

Police in Adamawa Arrestet 31 year for serial theft.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Suspect will be Charge to Court upon Completion of investigation.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
