The call was made as the Adamawa State Muslim Council and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State chapter, under the auspices of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC), commenced a tour of local government areas across the state. The Adamawa State Police Command has secured another significant conviction in its ongoing crackdown on Shilla gangsterism, as the Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State, has convicted and sentenced three members of the notorious gang to 10 years imprisonment each without an option of fine.
