In Our Effort to Eradicate Criminal activities, in Adamawa State. Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Adamawa State Command, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, has successfully intercepted a suspected syndicate of cattle rustlers terrorizing parts of the state.   Public Relation Officer of Adamawa State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused thin in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state Capital. The first group of suspects—Danladi Yakubu (35), Samson James (17), Usman Sule (30), and Usman Mohammed (18)—were apprehended at the Numan Bridge military checkpoint. They were allegedly involved in cattle rustling and were intercepted while attempting to transport seven stolen cows to Gombe State using a white 18-seater Innoson bus with registration number SMK417AY. The General Manager of the board, Limán Mustapha, in a statement on Friday, said the ban was in accordance with the Borno State Urban Planning and Development Law of 2002. He said the board banned street hawking, operation of tricycle operators and generator mechanics around Post Office and Monday Market areas of Maiduguri. Mr Mustapha said the board also banned any activity on pedestrian walkways, junctions and roundabouts, sale of engine oil on the road reservations, dumbing of sand or building materials and mixing of cement on the roads as well as construction of boreholes by the roadsides.
