ADAMAWA COMMISSIONER OF POLICE RECEIVES AND LECTURES NEWLY PASSED-OUT POLICE CONSTABLES.
The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has received and urged the newly passed-out Police Constables from the State to uphold honesty, dedication,discipline, Rule of law as they begin their careers in the Nigeria Police Force.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
police Boss made this call while addressing the Constables at the State Command Headquarters, along justice Buba Ardo way, He underscored that discipline is the bedrock of the Nigeria Police Force. He encouraged the new police officers to remain steadfast, exercise their discretionary powers, responsibly, and avoid actions that could bring disrepute to the Force in the discharge of their duties.
The General Duty/Specialist Police Constables from the State are among the recruits trained and graduated from the Police Colleges, Maiduguri and Kaduna respectively, on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Their graduation is part of the nationwide recruitment of 10,000 Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
These Police Constables will be deployed to their respective local government of origin within the state, in line with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, commitment to improving public safety and security through a community-oriented and people-centered policing strategy.
