Adamawa state Police Command Recorded Sixty difference cases over the yaer

 





Adamawa police Command has recorded sixty cases, ranging from Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, Culpable Homicide, Farmers and Headers Clashes, Rape and defilement and other heinous crimes across the state.



Adamawa state Police Commissioner Dankwambo Morris stated this while speaking during the Commissioning of the New Ultra -Modern police Headquaters Complex in Yola Adamawa state by IGP Kayode Egbetokin in Yola.



The commissioner of police said the Command has Arrested one hundred and twenty, suspects in connection with the aforementioned cases. These cases are being investigated, suspects were charged to court and case files forwarded to the office of Director of Public Prosecution of ministry of Justice, Adamawa state for possible prosecution.


The CP said  Adamawa state is one of the North Eastern States of Nigeria that Suffered security challengies particularly Boko Haram insurgency , it's bordered with Camerroon Republic and equally shares boundaries with Borno, Taraba, and Gombe state respectively.




CP Dankwambo stressed that the police Command being the lead agency in Internal security has played a vital role in making sure that the state is safe, secured and conducive for both economic and social activities.




He expressed gratitude to the IGP for finding him worthy to be posted as the commissioner of police Adamawa state, and since he assumed duty he championed fighting crimes and criminalities across the state.



He also Explained that with the support of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and effort of the officers and men, the command commended the governor for his contenued suppor in all ramification while ensuring a safer Adamawa state and has always been their strength during critical period noting that their stakeholders, sister Agencies, local security group and community leaders were also supportive




He  said the command Recovered Arms and Ammunitions which included Eight AK 47 rifles,twelve of local made pistols, Thirty of fabricated single barrel guns, Ninety seven 6.72mm caliber of live Ammunitions, and eight Magazines of AK 47 rifles.




Adamawa state commissioner of police Urged the Entire people of Adamawa state to continue to support the command with useful information Which will Enable them tackle Issues of insecurity across the state.
