Post primary Assured to give support to sport in the schools.

 





Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board has pledged to provide maximum support for sports development in secondary schools across the state. 


This commitment was made by the Acting Executive Secretary, Mr. Birsan Penuel, during the closing ceremony of the inter-school games organized by Government Girls Secondary School, GGSS Yola.


Mr. Penuel emphasized the importance of organizing games in schools, stating that it promotes unity, development, and better learning among students and teachers.


 He also assured that the government, through the Post Primary Schools Management Board, will provide necessary sports materials to encourage students to participate in sports activities.


The principal of GGSS Yola, Mrs. Rebecca Luka Yakubu, appreciated the Executive Secretary and his team for attending the ceremony. 


She highlighted the importance of organizing inter-school games to promote harmony among students and teachers.


 Director of Sports at the Post Primary Schools Management Board, Mr. Julious J Christopher,  commended GGSS Yola for organizing the games, which allowed students to showcase their sports skills. 


He advised other schools to organize similar games to promote learning and motivate students' interest in sports.


The event concluded with the presentation of gifts to winners from first to third position among senior and junior students at GGSS Yola.
