‎Adamawa Police Arrest 72 Suspects, Rescue 18 Children in Third Quarter Operations ‎

‎The Adamawa State Police Command has recorded significant breakthroughs in its fight against crime, arresting 72 suspects and rescuing 18 abducted children in various operations conducted between July and September 2025.

‎Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris Falings, psc(+), disclosed this on Friday during a press briefing and interactive session with Heads of Departments (HODs), Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and other senior officers at the State Police Headquarters in Yola.

‎According to him, the successes were achieved through coordinated operations by the Command’s tactical units, including the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Crack Squad, Intelligence Units, Area Commanders, and DPOs.

‎Highlighting the Command’s achievements in tackling child trafficking, the CP revealed that operatives led by ACP Shuaibu Wara arrested two women involved in trafficking and successfully rescued 13 children moved from Adamawa to Anambra State.

‎He expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unwavering support to the security sector, while commending residents of the state for providing actionable intelligence that aided police efforts.

‎CP Falings urged the public to remain vigilant and continue to support security agencies by reporting suspicious activities, stressing that “security is a collective responsibility — see something, say something.”
