Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Urges Fulbe Community to Embrace Peace, Unity Ahead of Year-End Festivities

The leadership of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has called on members of the Fulbe community across the North East to promote peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence as the year draws to a close.
In a statement issued ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Zonal Chairman, North East, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Nasiru Liman Jalbu, under the leadership of the National Chairman, Dr. Bello Bodejo, urged Fulbe communities to live peacefully with one another and with their neighbours, irrespective of differences or disagreements.
Alhaji Jalbu appealed to members to set aside disputes and misunderstandings, and instead uphold shared values of respect, tolerance, kindness, and compassion, stressing that these values are essential for sustainable peace and development.
He emphasized the need for members of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore in the North East Zone to work collectively towards building a stronger, more united, and prosperous community, especially during the festive period.
“As families and communities gather to mark the end-of-year and New Year celebrations, we must remember the importance of peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding,” the statement noted.
The group also encouraged Fulbe communities to use the festive season as an opportunity to strengthen relationships, resolve conflicts amicably, and foster dialogue that would promote long-term harmony.
Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore further extended its goodwill to Christian faithful in the region, wishing them a peaceful and joyous Christmas celebration, while reaffirming its commitment to interfaith harmony and communal peace in the North East.
The leadership expressed optimism that sustained unity and cooperation among communities would contribute to a more secure and prosperous future for all.
