NSCDC Deploys 1,200 Personnel to Strengthen Security in Adamawa During Festive Period

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Adamawa State has announced its readiness to ensure adequate security during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The State Public Relations Officer of the Corps, DSC Hmidu Nyako, disclosed this while speaking with journalists at the Adamawa State Government House in Yola.
According to him, NSCDC personnel have been deployed to strategic locations across the state to guarantee peaceful and hitch-free celebrations.
DSC Nyako explained that under the leadership of the State Commandant, Idris Bande, the Corps is fully prepared to monitor all areas expected to witness large gatherings during the festive period.
He commended the Adamawa State Government, led by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for providing patrol vehicles to the Corps, noting that the support will enhance effective surveillance and patrol operations statewide.
The NSCDC spokesperson assured residents that adequate measures have been put in place to protect lives and property before, during, and after the festivities.
He revealed that over one thousand two hundred personnel have been deployed across Adamawa State to strengthen security.
DSC Nyako also urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information to help prevent criminal activities and ensure a swift response to security challenges.
