Health Workers Urged to Strengthen Coordination for Better Service Delivery

Yola - A humanitarian worker and community leader, Mr. Yohanna Manje, has called on health workers to enhance internal coordination and information flow to improve healthcare services. He made this appeal during a one-day interactive lecture for officials of Ward Development Committee (WDC) and Staff of Shagari Primary Health Care Development Services in Yola.


The lecture was organized by the Clinic Ward Development Committee WDC officials in collaboration with Emergency Preparedness and Response, Adamawa State Branch,Yola.

Mr. Manje emphasized that this would foster trust and teamwork, leading to better patient outcomes. He also encouraged workers to collaborate with local leaders to mobilize communities against diseases.


Madam Salamatu Hamanadama, a WDC member, praised the Shagari Clinic staff for their efficiency, while Shehu Usman Aliyu, WDC Chairman, said the lecture was aimed to enhance healthcare delivery in the area. The Shagari facility Manager, Mallama Bilkisu Abdullah, thanked WDC officials for their support and promised staff would utilize the knowledge gained effectively and efficiently.


The training highlighted the importance of collaboration in achieving tangible results in healthcare delivery.
