Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, ๐ช๐ท ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐, paid a courtesy visit to the Air Force Commander, 153 Base Services Group, ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด.๐ด. ๐ด๐’๐๐๐, at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Yola.
The visit reaffirmed the strong and strategic partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Air Force in maintaining peace and security within the State.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police described the Nigerian Air Force as a critical partner in the fight against crime and other security challenges, particularly in areas requiring coordinated operations and rapid response. He emphasized the importance of sustained inter-agency collaboration, intelligence sharing, and joint operations in tackling emerging security threats.
The CP further reiterated the Command’s commitment to strengthening synergy with the Air Force and other security agencies to enhance public safety and security across Adamawa State.
The CP was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Administration, DCP John D. Sendere; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, DCP Abubakar Haruna; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Investigation, DCP Hamzat Tambai; and other senior members of the Command's Management Team.
Responding, the Air Force Commander, M.M. Mu’azu, appreciated the CP's visit and commended the Nigeria Police Force for its continued efforts in maintaining law and order. He assured the Commissioner of Police of the Nigerian Air Force’s unwavering support and commitment to sustained collaboration, joint operations, and intelligence sharing aimed at ensuring a secured and peaceful environment for all residents.
