EID-AL-ADHA CELEBRATIONS: AIG AKINWALE ORDERS HEIGHTENED SECURITY, FELICITATES MUSLIM UMMAH AND RESIDENTS OF ADAMAWA/TARABA STATES.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in- charge of Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola,  AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni, mspsp, has ordered heightened security deployment across Adamawa and Taraba States ahead of the  EID-AL-ADHA  celebrations.



Zone 3 Police Public Relation Officer in Yola SP Aminu  Umar Bashir discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


In line with the shared vision and unwavering commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, ),   towards the protection of lives and property, the AIG has directed the Commissioners of Police in the Adamawa and Taraba State Police Commands, under the Zone’s supervision, to implement proactive security measures throughout the festive period.


The AIG urges residents to cooperate fully with security personnel, remain law-abiding, and promptly report any suspicious movements or activities. He stressed that security is a collective responsibility and called for strengthened community-police partnership to ensure a peaceful celebration.



While congratulating the Muslim faithful on reaching Dhul-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar, the AIG reassured the public of the Nigeria Police Force’s readiness to ensure a safe, peaceful, and hitch-free Sallah celebration.


The AIG extends his warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and other citizens, particularly those in Adamawa and Taraba States. He encourages citizens to use this festive to promote love, unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence for the prosperity of Nigeria.
