Jera Boyo Community Hails Engineer Ahmad Salihijo’s Humanitarian Contributions

The people of Jera Bonyo Ward have commended Engineer Ahmad Salihijo for his numerous contributions toward the development and welfare of the community.
Residents made the commendation while speaking with journalists, describing Ahmad Salihijo as a compassionate and dedicated individual committed to supporting the people, particularly women and youths.
They also expressed their readiness to support him for the continued progress of the area.
A former councilor and aspirant seeking to contest again for the councilorship position, Mallam Mustafa Shehu, disclosed that Ahmad Salihijo donated more than twenty solar-powered street lights to Jera Boyo Ward.
According to him, Ahmad Salihijo personally supervised the installation of the lights at various strategic locations, including markets, mosques, churches, schools, and other important places within the community.
Mallam Mustafa Shehu noted that the gesture deserves appreciation, adding that the people of Jera Boyo are fully prepared to support Ahmad Salihijo in his bid to represent Yola South, Yola North, and Girei Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
He further called on residents and stakeholders across Yola South, Yola North, and Girei Local Government Areas to support Ahmad Salihijo so he can continue his humanitarian and community development efforts.
Also speaking, Mallam Adamu Mai Bulawus applauded Engineer Ahmad Salihijo for his continued support to the community.
He stated that he personally witnessed the installation of solar-powered lights in Islamic schools by Ahmad Salihijo, describing the development as a major boost to learning activities in the area.
Mallam Adamu reaffirmed their support for Ahmad Salihijo ahead of the forthcoming election, stressing that his victory would enable him to continue empowering women and youths as well as carrying out more charitable activities.
Apart from providing solar-powered street lights, Ahmad Salihijo has also empowered women and youths through various vocational and self-reliance initiatives, including tailoring, farming, soap making, and other livelihood support programmes.
On the other hand, Ahmad Salihijo’s father, the late Salihijo, made remarkable contributions during his time with the PTF agency across Yola South and Yola North Local Government Areas. His efforts cut across several sectors, including the provision of affordable medicines, particularly for children and pregnant women, the creation of employment opportunities for youths and women, as well as the sponsorship of scholarships for young people both within and outside Nigeria, among many other humanitarian interventions.
In recognition of these contributions and the positive impact he made on the lives of many people, stakeholders from Yola South, Yola North, and Girei Local Government Areas stated that they are ready to support Ahmad Salihijo. They expressed confidence in his ability to continue the legacy of community development established by his late father and pledged their full support for his political ambition.
