President Bola Tinubu Secures 100 Percent Victory In APC Presidential Primary In Gombe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recorded a one hundred percent victory in the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress in Gombe State ahead of the 2027 general elections.


Announcing the results at the APC collation centre in Gombe, Governor  Inuwa Yahaya said the state remains a stronghold of the ruling party and is fully prepared to deliver massive support for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.


According to the governor, who served as the APC Presidential Primary Collation Officer for Gombe State, President Tinubu polled four hundred and fifty thousand, five hundred and sixteen votes across the eleven local government areas of the state, while his opponent, Mr. Stanley Osifo, recorded zero votes.


Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the peaceful conduct and massive participation of party members in the exercise as a clear demonstration of confidence in the APC administration and the leadership of President Tinubu.


He added that the outcome of the primary election reflects the unity and commitment of APC members in Gombe State towards the continuation of the Tinubu administration beyond 2027.


The governor also commended party stakeholders, electoral officials, security agencies, media practitioners and supporters for ensuring a smooth and orderly exercise throughout the state.


In his remarks, the Gombe State APC Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Dantata Ndus, described the exercise as historic and expressed confidence that the overwhelming endorsement of President Tinubu would translate into victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.


The collation process was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies, election observers and members and f the media.
