IRON BENDERS IN ADAMAWA VOWS TO BOOSTING ECONOMIC SYSTEM IN THE STATE.


  



  In it's efforts to contribute to the economic development of Nigeria, the iron Benders cooperative society of Nigeria, Adamawa state chapter held it's annual general meeting, urged members to be pro active in order to align with global practices.


    The chairman of the Adamawa state iron Benders cooperative society Ahmed Abubakar made this known during it's annual general meeting in Yola.


    The chairman of the cooperative society said, the meeting was convened to enable members of the iron Benders cooperative society to deliberate fully on the activities of the cooperative, highlights it's achievements and challenges.


   According to him, the iron Benders cooperative society was established in order to improve the living conditions of it's members through the provisions of training on modern iron bending techniques and equipments.


  Ahmed Abubakar said, the iron Benders cooperative society is in partnership with the government and non governmental organizations,aimed at securing more contracts, support and finance for training.


   The chairman further urged the entire members of the iron Benders cooperative society in the state, to kindly adhere to the rules and regulations of the cooperative society,in order to aid it's growth and sustainability.


   He commended the efforts, sacrifices and commitments of the current leadership of the association, urged them to carry everybody along in all their programs and activities for the overall interest of justice and fairness.


   The chairman urged the entire members of the association to be paying their monthly dues, aimed at supporting the activities and programs of the cooperative and improving the living conditions of members.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

By Alhassan Haladu Yola. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has deployed  2,521 personnel* across the state to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration. The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
