Man 53 Arrested for Allegedly sexual Assault on minor in Adamawa state.

As their effort to takle issue of sexual Assault in the state Adamawa state police Command Arrested 53year old Suspect identified as Usman Tela Ahmadu, a resident of Samunaka, Yola sauth Local Govement Area have been arrested for Sexually Assaulting a Mentally Challenged Minor. Adamawa state police relation officer SP Suleiman Yahay Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect, hails from Maiduguri in Borno State and resides in the Area as an internally displaced person (IDP) receiving gifts and undue support/ sympathy from the Locals. The suspect further reveals he sexually assaulted the Mentally Challenged Girl four times started year 2021. The Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, while expressing Worries Calls on Parents/Guardians to live up to expectation in providing Necessity to their wards to prevent them from accessing the Criminally minded person. He added that No hidden place for Criminals of Such Character in Adamawa State, as Strategies to Checkmating Gender Base Violence and Other Criminal activities emplaced in these Ember Months.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
