Dep Gov Innaugrates water project scheme in Fufore Adamawa state




Adamawa state, Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa has commissioned water project in five different.communities of Fufore local government area of the state.


The 2,400 cubic meter water projects targeted at ameliorating water scarcity of over 2,500 households in Adamawa state.


Farauta urged security and traditional institutions to guard against vandalizing the projects by hoodlums in Gurin, Wuro-boki, Dasin-Hausa and Malabu  benefiting communities.


The water scheme she said is commodity the people of the local government has been  yearning for long time, inline with policies and programs of the state.


She urging the communities to take  ownership of the project and ensure proper maintenance.


Mr Audu Ayuba Tanko, Commissioner for water resources was made successes due to  political will of the present government.


The commissioner revealed that five different communities in Fufore have benefitted from such water projects executed by government.


Earlier,  Usman Hamman Tukur Daware, chairman Fufore local government appreciated governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the gesture, noting that the water projects will ameliorate the suffering of people occasioned by the shortage of clean drinking water.


He acknowledged that the water projects is one amongst the enormous legacy projects of the governor in Fufore, even as the chairman solicited for the provision of transformer to enhance electricity supply. 


The Acting district head of Ribadu Aliyu Ahmed among other stakeholders in their goodwill messages said the noble gesture is a remarkable decision of the fresh air administration, hence their appreciation to the government.##

Police in Adamawa Arrestet 31 year for serial theft.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
