Galadima of Muri Greets Muslim. Calls for Unity.

Alhaji (Dr.) Lamido Abba Tukur, the Galadima of Muri in the Muri Emirate Council, in Taraba State extends his felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the globe on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the peaceful celebration of Eid-el Fitr.


In his Sallah message, Dr. Tukur congratulated Governor Agbu Kefas, Emir of Muri, HRH Alhaji Abbas Njidda Tafida, and the entire people of Taraba State for observing the festive season peacefully. 


He emphasized the significance of forgiveness, compassion, and gratitude during the season and urged the Muslim Ummah to uphold the values they learned during the month of Ramadan for the betterment of society.


Dr. Tukur advocates for a change in attitude that will foster societal improvement, urging followers to be more submissive and obedient to their leaders. 


In addition, he cautioned them against apportioning blame on leaders for challenges faced and encouraged them to pray for the leaders to enable them to provide dividends of democracy.


Furthermore, Dr. Tukur, the District Head of Jalingo, called on the people of Taraba State to exercise tolerance and continue to live in peace regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or political inclination for the development of the state.


In conclusion, Dr. Lamido Abba Tukur commended the State Government and Security agencies for ensuring peaceful coexistence across the state, which is a top priority of Governor Agbu Kefas's Moving Forward Agenda.
