Adamawa State Police Command Arrest two Youth over Impersonation.

 




Adamawa State Police Command Arrests two people the Allegation over impersonation and gave fake Appointment Letters.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a Statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.





The statement said following the  received a complaint from Dr. Suleiman Saidu Bashir, Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Agency (ADSPHCA). That some certain individuals were impersonating Adamawa State Government agents, Demanding and extorting money from innocent Citizens by issuing them fake letters of employment.


On the strength of that,  the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris directed the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, to investigate and report. This action led to the apprehension of the following suspects:




The suspect are Muhammed Ahmed Attahir, 31years Abdulrahman Bashir Ahmad, 23years , all residents of Rabe Street, Bako ward, Yola South Local Government area.


Investigation further led to the arrest of Bello A Suleiman, 59, a staff officer at the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Yola for aiding the Crime. 





So far the Culprits and their Collaborators issued fake letters of Appointment to over 10 victims, collecting ₦400,000 from each and were directed to a Certain office at the Fiscal Responsibility Commission for their alleged data capture.





One A HP laptop, thumbprint machine, and four fake appointment letters were recovered from the suspects and now treated as exhibits.the  Investigation is still ongoing to apprehend other fleeing suspects.


The Command advised Members of the public to be watchful and report any suspicious characters around them to the nearest Police stations.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Suspect will be Charge to Court upon Completion of investigation.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
