CONASAI Embark on awareness Compaign on drug abuse.







Community Network Against Substance Abuse Initiative CONASAI says it is set to organize awareness in various locations including motor parks, markets, public places, and others, to address the issue of Drug Abuse in the Communities.


CONASAI through its National President, Dr. Jalo Jauro said CONASAI aims to work closely with the stakeholders to tackle the issue of drug abuse among society, especially Youths.


Dr. Jalo Jauro explained that the CONASAI would collaborate with different organizations and stakeholders including traditional rulers, and Religious leaders to take measures that will lead to overcoming drug Abuse in society.


Dr. Jalo Urged the stakeholders, Civil Society Organizations, Traditional rulers, and Religious leaders to give maximum support to CONASAI to enable the organization to fight against drug abuse in the communities for peace and development in the country.


Dr. Jalo Jauro Called the parents to always control their children to know their whereabouts and checkmate their friends.


According to him, parents have a major role to play in society to stop drug abuse in communities across the country.


He advised the youths across Nigeria to avoid taking any drug that will lead them to be out of their sense of peace and development in the communities and the country at large.


He also called on all members of CONASAI to carry out their activities with the fear of Allah and continue praying to seek help from Allah at any time to achieve their aims.

Adamawa State Police Command attached to Department of State Intelligent while on surveillance Patrol Arrested a 31years Abubakar Tasiu Tanimu Old around Jambutu Motor Park Jimeta, with the following items, which Including thirteen ATM Cards of difference Banks, One National I d card and waller containing Documents and the Itel P551w handset. Adamawa State police relation officer stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The Suspect is a resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, Mayo Belwa Local Govt area Investigation so far reveal that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area and was about to Sell it out to Shopping Complex before he was arrested. Suspect will be Charge to Court upon Completion of investigation.

Jambutu got new Chairman of PCRC.

Stakeholders in Jambutu ward in Yola North Local government of Adamawa state have been urged to unite and work together for peace and development of the ward and the State. This call was made by the New Chairman of Police Community Relation Committee PCRC Jamubtu ward, Adamu Jingi shortly after he was appointed. Adamu Jingi called for synergy between all stakeholders and to support security agencies for the development of the ward and the entire State. Adamu also advised politician to engage the youth through skills acquisition training which will help them to become self reliance. While calling on the youth to be productive always, the newly appointed chairman also called on them to always seek jobs as their dignity in the society depended on how they contribute to the growth and development of the communities they came from.
